I Never, Ever, Play Nice…I Play Nice, and Rough.

A very recent blog someone posted said:

let’s play nice…

My husband had this idea…let’s all comment about 3 things we like or find favorable about the candidate in the opposite party we are supporting.  It’s really easy to find faults, but we should all take a moment to think about the good things the other candidate has to offer.  After all, in the end only one candidate will take a seat in the oval office whether its the one we liked or not.

I will start us off with three things about Obama….

1.  He seems like he is a good family man…his children appear to be well mannered and happy and I think that reflects well on him.

2.  I really appreciated when he took the time to tell the press to back off of Palin’s pregnant daughter.  That sat really well with me.

3.  Obama has a good motivational style to his speech and seems to really appeal to the younger generation as far as getting them excited about voting.

Your turn…

So I posted this comment:

1. McCain still has some organs that are donatable.

2. Ah,…

Ok, let’s go on to Palin, and I think this one thing weighs enough to count as 3:

1. If global warming causes an extreme cold climate to descend on the United Sates, she can tell us which books need to be burned for warmth.

———

And I can tell you, since posting that comment, I do feel better. Why, I even feel like singing…

“I Think I’ll Go For Walk Outside now, the summer sun’s calling my name, I hear it now. I just can’t stay inside all day, I’ve got to get out, gimme some of those rays. Everybody’s smilin’…”

  1. If you love the Brady Bunch enough to remember all those lyrics, you’re already more qualified to be president than McCain.

Now excuse me while I go laugh until my stomach hurts.
